Certifax Appraisals, a division of Certifax, Inc., was founded in 1996 by Kay Van Hoesen, a real estate appraiser with appraisal experience in the local real estate market since 1986. Certifax Appraisals has grown to a permanent staff of 10 people and is recognized as one of the foremost residential appraisal firms in the coastal area of North and South Carolina, the area known as the Grand Strand.
